Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary & Deerland

thanks to my colleague's recommendation,
and big thanks to the blog post advice here
guiding us via a super detail map here
this map is amazing, there was indeed a
police speed trap as mentioned in the map
at exactly 10am onwards!!!!!

advice is to book tickets in advance prior to the trip
from KGECC ( tel 09: 2790391)
as there are only 100 activity YELLOW passes daily
which means only few get to ride elephants & bath with them!
the videos starts from 1230pm onwards,
while the activity starts about 2pm,
and we were at Deerland about 11am.

the weird thing is there were more foreign tourists,
that means a lot of local friends really do not know
the existence of this elephant sanctuary & deerland!

i feel super guilty, cos i COMPLETELY forgot about donation!!!
i dont remember seeing a donation box,

nor were any of the staff pestering us for donation,
i feel so bad because so much can be done to improve the
living habitat of these elephants.....
